The Warsaw team fell short against Lawrence North in a 65-59 loss in the Class 4A state championship game on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Tigers were down by 18 in the third quarter but closed the gap to three points twice in the final minute. The Wildcats (19-8) added a few points in the final minute.
Warsaw benefited from a huge crowd and was the focus of attention as the state honored 50 years of girls basketball.
