“Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative” Happening Saturday

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is sponsoring the 11th nationwide “Prescription Drug Take Back” initiative Saturday.

Law enforcement agencies and their partners throughout Indiana will be accepting prescription medications in liquid and pill form Saturday from 10a-2pm as part of the nationwide effort to dispose of unused meds without hurting the environment or people. Needles are not being accepted. The collection is free and anonymous.

Kosciusko County has a drop-off location outside the sheriff’s department which is available 24/7 all year long. Here’s a list of drop-off locations.
