Northern Indiana police say a 12-year-old boy who stole a school bus overnight wasn't hurt when it crashed into a parked truck and a home miles away. The White County Sheriff's Department says the bus crashed about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Brookston after running over police stop sticks. A motorist had told a 911 dispatcher about 3 a.m. the bus was swerving “all over the roadway.” White County Chief Deputy A.J. Alletto says he wasn't disclosing what the boy from the town of Battleground told officers because he's a juvenile. Prosecutors will determine whether the boy will face charges. Alletto says it's unclear how far the boy drove the bus, which was reported stolen from Frontier High School in Chalmers about 20 miles north of Lafayette.
