Police are crediting a 13 year-old boy in a carjacked Suburban for helping gives leads to the location of the stolen vehicle. It happened Saturday morning on I-80 near the Indiana-Illinois state line. Police say the Suburban, driven by a man with his son in the front seat, was hit from behind by a van. When both vehicles came to rest, the man went to check on the driver of the van. But when he approached the van, the driver, identified as Lorona Green of Chicago, climbed out and took off in his Suburban with his son, still in the front seat. The teen used his cell phone to provide landmarks while Green was driving. Officers stopped the Suburban at the 23 mile marker on I-94 and took the woman into custody. The boy was not hurt.
