This week, Marshall County UNIT officers ended numerous lengthy investigations and coordinated a multi-agency operation resulting in the arrest of 20 people in and around Marshall County for narcotic offenses.
UNIT officers, assisted by the Indiana State Police SWAT Team, the Indiana State Police, Plymouth Police and Marshall County Police, executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Lemler Lane in Plymouth.
Officers arrested five people out of the residence after finding a significant amount of methamphetamine in the home. They also located suspected heroin and numerous forms of paraphernalia and evidence of dealing.
James Bailey, 56, Plymouth; Matthew Hensley, 33, Plymouth; and Richard Hopkins Sr., 60, Plymouth, were arrested for dealing in methamphetamine, Level 2 felonies, and each have $50,000 cash bonds.
Richard Hopkins Jr., 32, Plymouth; and Bonnie Agee, 37, Plymouth, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance and each have $3,000 cash bonds.
Bourbon Police officers, assisted by UNIT officers and the Indiana State Police, simultaneously executed a search warrant for a home in the 100 block of Liberty Avenue in Bourbon. Officers there located a significant amount of methamphetamine as well as cultivated marijuana, paraphernalia and evidence of dealing.
Jason Irwin, 37, Bourbon; and Candice Irwin, 35, Bourbon, were arrested for dealing in methamphetamine. Jason was arrested for a Level 2 felony and given a $28,000 cash bond. Candice was arrested for a Level 4 felony and given a $20,000 cash bond. Bourbon Police then located and arrested Christopher Hawkins, no age or address listed, on a dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony, warrant from a UNIT investigation.
Later that day, Marshall County Police, assisted by UNIT officers, went to a home in the 7000 block of 8B Road, Plymouth, to arrest Justice Warren, 23, Plymouth, for an outstanding dealing in marijuana warrant from a UNIT case. Officers located Warren at the residence and found over 9 pounds of marijuana and marijuana edibles and numerous forms of paraphernalia. They seized cash and two firearms from the home as well. Warren is currently lodged at the Marshall County Jail for dealing in marijuana.
UNIT officers, assisted by Plymouth Police, then located and arrested Daniel Henderson, 38, Plymouth; and Breenna Henderson, 26, Plymouth, for outstanding dealing in a controlled substance warrants. Daniel is currently being held on a $20,000 cash bond. Breenna is being held on a $3,000 cash bond.
On Tuesday, UNIT officers, assisted by the Indiana State Police SWAT Team, Marshall County police and Plymouth Police executed a search warrant at a room at the Economy Inn in Plymouth.
UNIT officers located a significant amount of methamphetamine in the room and a vehicle belonging to subjects at the focus of the investigation. Dennis Salyer, 61, Knox; and Hiram Noble, 63, Plymouth, were both arrested for dealing in methamphetamine, Level 2 felonies, and are being held on a $50,000 cash bond each.
UNIT officers, assisted by the Indiana State Police SWAT Team, Marshall County Police and Argos Police, then executed a search warrant in the 500 block of North Michigan Street in Argos. During the search, officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms and numerous forms of paraphernalia and evidence of dealing. Officers arrested Andrew Kirby, 44, Argos; and Stephanie Risher-Valdez, 43, Argos, for dealing in methamphetamine, Level 2 felonies. They both have $50,000 cash bonds.
UNIT officers also located Destiny Hossler, 25, of Mishawaka, out of county for dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony. She is being held at the Marshall County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
Mathew Keller-Lowry, no age or address listed, was also served with a Level 4 dealing in methamphetamine warrant at the Marshall County Jail. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Three other subjects are being held in surrounding counties on high level felonies from UNIT investigations.
The cooperative operation resulted in the total seizure of over 280 grams of methamphetamine, over 9 pounds of marijuana, 9 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 3.2 grams of heroin and LSD. Officers also confiscated three firearms and seized three vehicles and over $7,000 in cash.
