Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested three individuals on alleged drug charges after a recent investigation. Three individuals from Kosciusko County were recently arrested on drug charges after the culmination of an intensive Drug Task Force investigation. Officers initially arrested 18 year old Nathaniel David Heitkamp (height-camp) of Warsaw on preliminary charges of Dealing in a Schedule III controlled substance, a Class B-Felony on June 12th of this year. Heitkamp's bond was set at $10,000. A second suspect, 28 year old Derek Wagner of Etna Green was arrested on June 17th after a warrant was issued by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office charging him with Dealing in a Schedule III controlled substance, a Class B-Felony. Wagner's bond was set at $10,000. Subsequently, Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested 24 year old Barbara Middleton of Silver Lake on June 18th for Dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance, a Class B-Felony. Middleton's bond was set at $10,000. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were also assisted by members of the Silver Lake Police Department and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department during the duration of the investigation. The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
