WPD Press Release – On Saturday, March 21, 2015, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Warsaw Police received a call from a local hotel after receiving several complaints of the strong odor of marijuana. Officers arrived and were directed to the location where they were met by the renter of the room, George Bolden. Mr. Bolden informed the officers that he had smoked marijuana but there was no more. Mr. Bolden gave consent to search the room and officers found multiple baggies of pills that were identified as Hydrocodone, a schedule II controlled substance. Further investigation led officers along with narcotic officers to an apartment on Sophie Lane where more of the same pills were located along with Dextroamphetamine pills, a schedule IV controlled substance. In all, officers seized 1,644 grams of pills, 12.5 grams of marijuana, and $4,571 in cash. Street value of the seized pills would have been over $25,000.
Warsaw Police charged the following suspects:
• Brandon Bolden, 22 years of age, of Warsaw, IN., level 2 felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II, III controlled substance, and felony maintaining a common nuisance.
• George Bolden, 23 years of age, of Detroit, MI., level 2 felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II, III controlled substance.
• Clifford Brown, 20 years of age, of Novi, MI., level 2 felony dealing in over 28grams of a schedule I, II, III controlled substance, and felony possession of a schedule I, II, III controlled substance with intent to deal.
• Jamari Rhodes, 21 years of age, of Detroit, MI., level 2 felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II, III controlled substance.
All suspects were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and are being held with no bond.
