Four people were injured in a head-on collision Sunday, with three transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. According to a Warsaw Police Department crash report, 87 year old Geneva B. Spencer of Bloomington, was traveling eastbound on Winona Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Sunday and approaching the intersection of Hand Avenue in Warsaw when she turned left and struck another vehicle, driven by 53 year old Dale R. Riley of Warsaw. Spencer told police she did not observe the other vehicle before turning left. Spencer suffered multiple lacerations to both forearms and was transported to KCH for treatment. Riley complained of back pain but refused medical treatment. One of Riley’s passengers, 50 year old Tammy L. Riley complained of chest, abdominal and leg pain and was also transported to KCH for treatment. Riley’s second passenger, 23 year old James W. Ratliff II, was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and complained of neck, back and shoulder pain and was also transported to KCH to be treated for his injuries.
