The Concord High School teacher placed on administrative leave after a controversial segregation lesson is back in the classroom. She instructed students to place “blacks only” signs in the hallways near bathrooms and drinking fountains. The superintendent says the lesson was suppose to allow students to experience segregation first-hand, but the teacher failed to get prior approval for the controversial lesson. According to the Goshen News, district leaders have determined the teacher did not intend anything malicious toward students and staff.
