9/11 Ceremony will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Warsaw

WARSAW — Patriot Day Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the 9-11 Memorial at Central Park, 117 E. Canal St., Warsaw.  

Kosciusko County Sheriff Jim Smith, a veteran, will be the speaker. 

“This is the 23rd annual event that we have held since 2002,” according to Mike Cox, chairman of the Kosciusko 9-11 Committee.  

“We made a commitment to “Never Forget” remembering each year those who died on that fateful day in 2001 and honor the law, fire and emergency personnel who serve us 24/7 in our communities,” Cox said.

This year will mark the 22nd annual event by the committee.

Plans are already in the works for 2026 for the 25th anniversary.
