WARSAW — A third person has entered the race for Winona Lake town council in a bid to replace Rick Swaim.
Sarah L. Hill filed paperwork for the Ward 5 seat earlier this week for the Republican caucus.
Other candidates for the caucus include Paul Heaton and Scott Wickens.
Hill told the Times-Union that running for the position is a chance to give back to the community. She currently owns a medical spa in Warsaw.
The deadline to file for the race is 6 p.m. Friday.
Republicans will meet at 6 p.m. Monday to make a selection.
