Warsaw BOW Approved Contracts

The Warsaw Board of Works approved a 12-thousand 600-dollar contract for Stantec Consulting Services to maintain shoreline restorations. Superintendent Brian Davison told the board that the company removes unwanted weeds. The board also approved a 40-thousand dollar maximum on-call contract with Christopher Burke Engineering, a 109-thousand dollar agreement wth G & G Hauling for stormwater improvements at Timber Ridge and a modification of a wastewater utility contract with Merrell Brothers Inc. for $17.50 per wet ton. Davison told the board that would be a cost of about $70,000 to $80,000 per year, which would still save the city money. The board also signed off on a deal with Insight Pipe Contracting LLC for a sewer lining project for $376-thousand dollars.
The Board of Works Also agreed to a 1.6-million dollar plan to replace the HVAC system at city hall. Most of that money will be taken from ARPA funds.
