Department of Natural Resources grants totaling more than half a million dollars will be handed out to help area lakes fight invasive lake vegetation. A total of $586,000 in grants from the Lake and River Enhancement program were announced by the DNR this morning. Those grants cover 42 projects in lakes in 15 counties, including Kosciusko County, and come from money collected from BMV boat registrations.
