Kosciusko County officials are currently investigating a vehicular traffic crash south of Pierceton that has left one man critical. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded Monday at 2:13 p.m. to the intersection of State Road 13 & County Road 500 East in regards to a reported crash. 53 year old Larry W. Bidwell of Anderson was found in critical condition after a collision involving his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Bidwell was airlifted from the scene by helicopter, and transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne with severe head and internal injuries. Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team members stated that a preliminary investigation into the crash determined that Bidwell had been traveling southbound on State Road 13, when a 2003 Dodge Caravan, driven by 34 year old Sarah A. Wood was northbound on State Road 13, and suddenly turned into the path of Bidwell at the intersection of County Road 500 East. Wood was purportedly not injured in the crash.
