The Better Business Bureau is once again warning Kosciusko County about a scam using the good name of the I.R.S. Officials with the BBB say consumers are receiving menacing calls from people who state they’re with the I.R.S. The reason stated for their call is that they’re collecting on taxes owed. Threats of arrest and jail time are made, if an immediate payment isn’t given. Police say these calls are not legitimate and if you truly owed money in back taxes, the I.R.S would have sent out notifications via mail.
