The Indiana BMV is asking for a delay vanity plate sales…just as the Attorney General's office has filed a request for a stay order. It's all about the the license plate that reads “0INK.” A Marion judge in May ordered the BMV to resume selling personalized license plates, which it hadn't done in nearly a year due to a lawsuit by a Greenfield police officer who insisted it unconstitutionally refused to renew his plate. The judge agreed with the officer, and told the BMV it had to resume selling vanity plates under certain stipulations.
