Gas prices in our area are expected to rise about 20 cents throughout the day, according to GasBuddy. The gas price-tracking website issued a spike alert Wednesday morning. Gas prices have ranged from $1.88 to just over $2 in Kosciusko County over the last few days. GasBuddy has predicted prices to land at $2.19 per gallon in parts of Indiana and $2.29 per gallon in northwest Indiana. GasBuddy analyst Patrick DeHaan is predicting that gas prices will rise around the country over the next week while refineries scale back production.
