A Hartford middle school secretary has filed a lawsuit after being fired for reporting a student's indecent exposure incident. Kathy Anchor's suit alleges she was fired out of retaliation, after talking to police and school members about the incident. It was back in March she says she caught a 15 year-old boy in the school office with his pants down. She says he ordered her not to talk and even stepped toward her in a threatening manner while his pants were down. Thd Herald Palladium reports the district didn't seek charges, so Anchor did. She says she suffered PTSD after the incident, went on medical leave, and was fired while she was away. The Van Buren County Prosecutor is pursuing criminal charges against the teen in juvenile court.
