Purdue University has begun a partnership with amazon. The Purdue Store on Amazon is now open online, where the university says students can buy lower-cost textbooks and other school supplies and have them shipped to where they live. Purdue President Mitch Daniels says the move was prompted in part by the realization that some students were paying as much as $1200 per year for their books. He says using amazon could save students up to 30-percent per year on textbooks, a savings he says could add up to about $6 million dollars annually…..
