Julia Holcomb, former girlfriend and legal ward of Steven Tyler, lead singer of the rock band Aerosmith, will speak in the Grace College chapel service on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Chapel takes place in the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center at 10:30 a.m. Holcomb was 16 years old when she became the legal ward of Steven Tyler.
At age 17, Holcomb survived a devastating apartment fire, while being pregnant at the time. While recovering from the fire at a hospital, Holcomb was coerced into an abortion. In the following years, Holcomb rebuilt her life and she attributes her recovery to her faith in Jesus Christ. Holcomb will also keynote the Kosciusko County Right to Life banquet on Monday, Sept. 19 in the Orthopaedic Capital Center.
