Students at Indiana college campuses will start to receive social media messages about Indiana's “lifeline” law. It's a law that allows minors under the influence of alcohol to report a medical emergency or crime without getting in trouble themselves. Republican state Senator Jim Merritt of Indianapolis wrote the law and says too many underage drinkers are unaware they are protected if they're helping someone else in need. So far 13 Indiana college campuses will push the information to their students on Facebook, YouTube and Pandora to make sure they're aware of the law. soq
