Federal appeals court judges in Chicago are considering whether or not to uphold gay marriage bans in Indiana and Wisconsin. A three-judge panel heard oral arguments in the case on Tuesday and they challenged attorneys to explain the impact of gay marriage on children. Attorneys general in both states are trying to reinstate same-sex marraige bans that were ruled unconstitutional back in June. Both sides got 20 minutes to make their arguments, but a decision from the court could still be several weeks away.
