LAGRANGE COUNTY – Five people were sent to the hospital after a buggy crash on Friday afternoon.
At about 1:05 p.m. Friday, LaGrange County police were called to near County Road 450N to reports of a crash. When police arrived they found a Ford Escort had traveled north uphill on County Road 675W, when it collided with a buggy on the opposite side of the hill, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office.
Two adults and three children were inside the buggy and sent to the hospital. The three children suffered minor injuries. The man complained of back pain and the woman of foot pain.
The driver of the Escort was charged with driving while suspended. Police estimate the property damage at $10,000.
