PLYMOUTH – A community is paying tribute to a murdered 2-year-old girl whose killer pleaded guilty last week.
A vigil for Serenity Wilson of Plymouth will take place at 6 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery, according to WSBT.
Serenity Wilson was beaten to death by her mother’s former boyfriend for wetting the bed.
Shane Weedling pleaded guilty to murder last week and was sentenced to 65 years behind bars. Her mother, Krysti Lavanway, is appealing her 35 year neglect sentence.
