No one was hurt in an explosion at a BP refinery in northwest Indiana. The blast rattled homes, but it wasn't enough to evacuate the nearby neighborhoods. A Whiting Fire Department spokesman says the plant didn't say they needed assistance at first, but now the department is handling the incident. Oddly enough, the Chicago Sun-Times said Wednesday was the 59th anniversary of an explosion in Whiting that killed two people.
