<div>Summer's officially over, but that doesn't mean you can come inside just yet. As much as we hate to admit it, the days after labor are a perfect reminder for you to get your home ready for cold weather. Before you store everything away, spend some time to clean and caulk your windows. It's also a a good idea to make sure you storm doors and garage doors close tightly. While you are at it, check your gutters and downspouts and get all the leaves and junk that's collected out of them. Don't forget, get your chimneys looked at. As they say, an ounce of preventation goes a long way. Better to do it now before it gets REALLY cold.
