PLYMOUTH – Two men wanted in connection with the death of a Marshall County man are resisting extradition back to Indiana.
Maeson Coffin, 19, and Gauvin Monaghan, 18, were arrested in Watertown, New York, on Sunday. As of Wednesday, Nov. 9, Marshall County Prosecutor E. Nelson Chipman said the two men refused to waive extradition back to Indiana, according to the South Bend Tribune.
Their arrests came the day after Richard Paul Costello, 78, was found dead by family members on his Lincolnway property, just outside Plymouth.
Each faces charges of auto theft after they allegedly stole Costello’s car. They were both officially charged with his murder Thursday, Nov. 10.
The two men rented a house from Costello on his property.
