The defense of a suspect in a 2012 house explosion that killed two people and damaged dozens of homes in Indy, has been dealt a setback. Turns out a St. Joseph Superior Court Judge denied two of Mark Leonard's motions. One of them, that asked for the damages of prosecution witnesses to limit their testimony in the trial. The judge also denied a defense request to try the case in two parts. Leonard's trial was moved to South Bend because of pretrial publicity. His trial is due to begin June 6th.
