LEESBURG – A woman and her two children are safe after their SUV flipped on a county road near Clunette.
The accident occurred late Friday morning near a residence located at 4839 W. 600 N., Leesburg. The 911 call came into Kosciusko County Dispatch at 10:59 am.
A 30-year-old female was driving eastbound on CR 600 N., when one of her young children was trying to get out of their car seat. The woman was tending to the child and veered off the south side of the roadway where she lost control of her GMC Jimmy, overturned and the vehicle eventually came to a rest on it’s top, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries and both children were checked by medics.
