Indiana’s Unemployment Rate Down

Indiana’s unemployment rate decreased to 5-point-1 percent in May. It's a three-tenths drop and the second month in a row the Hoosier State experienced a significant decline. The Hoosier labor force has grown by more than 19,000 during the past year. The sectors that added the most jobs are Trade, Transportation, & Utilities… and Manufacturing. Indiana is now 300 private sector jobs below the all-time peak of employment, which was set in March of 2000.
