Federal investigators are at the Zionsville home of Subway spokesmanJared Fogle for several hours Tuesday morning.
Police are serving warrants in connection to a child pornography investigation, FOX 59 in Indianapolis reported. FBI and Indiana State Police officers were seen at the home starting at about 6:30 a.m.
Electronics were taken from the home while Fogle was detained by police.
Nearly two months ago, 43-year-old Russell Taylor, the executive director of The Jared Foundation was arrested in Indianapolis on federal child pornography charges, The Indianapolis Star reported. Fogle started the foundation to help reduce childhood obesity, which he experienced.
Fogle, 37, became “The Subway Guy” and rose to celebrity status after he lost more than 200 pounds by eating low-calorie Subway sandwiches and exercising while he was a student at Indiana University in the late 1990s. His diet is now known as the “Subway diet.”
