Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies extricated a Warsaw man from his truck after it struck a tree this morning.
At about 5:17 a.m., Brandon Mulldune, 29, of Warsaw, was driving his 1999 Ford F150 east on the county road when he swerved to avoid a deer. Mulldune ran off the roadway on the south side and then hit a tree near the intersection of CR 100 South and SR 25.
Mulldune was transported to an area hospital in and out of consciousness and complained of back pain, according to deputy Joel Popenfoose.
Damage was estimated to be between $5,000 and $10,000.
