The City of Warsaw is closely monitoring serious traffic violations in the construction zone of the Husky Trail Project.
As reported last week, the city set up more barricades to keep people from using Husky Trail as a through street during construction of the new roundabout at Mariner Drive.
Mayor Joe Thallemer says there is evidence that drivers are going through yards and physically getting out of their vehicles to move the barricades to get through anyway. He says he’s ordered an increased police presence in that area as a result.
