You can expect to see your 2017 Kosciusko County spring tax bill in the mail later this week. County officials confirmed for the Times Union that tax bills will go out tomorrow and be due back by May 10th.
You can pay your tax bill in the treasurer’s office in the Old Courthouse, by putting it in the drop box outside the west entrance at the courthouse, by credit or debit card online, by paying at an approved local bank or by mailing it to the treasurer’s office.
To mail payments, send to Kosciusko County Treasurer, PO Box 1764, Warsaw, 46581. Spring payments must be postmarked by May 10. If mailing on May 10, it is important to have the post office hand cancel the envelope with the postmark date to avoid late penalties.
Taxes can be paid at Crossroads, Campbell & Fetter, Farmers State Bank, First Federal Huntington, Lake City Bank, 1st Source Bank and Mutual Bank.
Taxes may be paid online with a credit card or debit card at www.kcgov.com. Credit and debit cards may also be used by phoning 855-984-1194 with a 2.95 percent convenience fee. Credit and debit cards also may be used in the treasurer’s office with a 2.50 percent convenience fee. The convenience fee is retained by the credit card vendor.
