A new president has been named for the Warsaw Rotary Club, and she’s the youngest female to ever fill the role.
DeAnna Muraski is a two-year Rotarian and became the club’s president on July 1.
She’s the associate director of internships at Grace College, and says strategic planning is her strength.
“I look forward to serving our community by transforming ideas into reality. I feel blessed that the club members have entrusted me with the leadership of the group and I will work very hard to do my best for them,” she explains.
The Rotary Club in Warsaw is currently fundraising for a new park. Muraski says Rotarians have already raised 70% of the goal for Rotary Park.
As president, Muraski plans to celebrate the Rotary Club’s centennial year in 2019.
“Now is a great time to be a Rotarian, and to be a member of this wonderful community,” she says. “I encourage others to consider joining our club and becoming part of a great tradition of service in Warsaw.”
