On Sunday afternoon, the Elkhart Police Department was sent to the Elkhart General Hospital to investigate a two-year-old boy brought to the emergency room. The boy was being treated for several different suspicious injuries, and was transferred to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. He is in critical condition. WNDU confirmed with dispatch that a two-year-old was taken to the hospital by ambulance from the area of Delaware and Wagner in Elkhart. Police are still investigating, and they say no arrests have been made.
