The deadline to apply for a paid internship with the Indiana House Republicans is October 31st. The program runs during the legislative session from late December until mid-March. College sophomores, juniors & seniors as well as graduate students and recent college grads can all apply.
State Representative Tony Cook tells News Now Warsaw there are various opportunities for a variety of skill sets.
“House Republican Caucus offers internship opportunities in essentially five major department areas: legislative, communications, fiscal policy, policy, and technologies.”
Cook says there are many benefits to the internship.
“This is a paid internship, interns earn $750 bi-weekly, and most importantly they are also eligible for academic credit through most of their college and universities…this fast-paced environment will help students prepare for their future and their careers.”
Internship applications can be submitted at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/internship. All majors are welcome to apply.
