The University of Notre Dame is changing its policy on birth control coverage.
The school sent a letter Friday to students saying it was dropping the coverage. WSBT reports that the move was made possible by a change by the Trump administration earlier this month in an Affordable Care Act requirement that health plans cover contraceptives.
It allows an exemption for any non-government employer with a religious or moral objection.
The American Civil Liberties Union is suing the administration over the rule change, and Notre Dame’s plan will end at the end of the year.
