Kosciusko County’s one-and-only corn maze opens today and Saturday, taking visitors through unique twists and turns of a sixth-generation family farm. The Corn Maze at Goshert Farms, an agri-tourism destination southwest of Mentone, offers a light-hearted, playful experience for all ages. As visitors feel their way through the 4.5-acre corn maze, they will be guided by farm-themed trivia questions. Correct answers will guide visitors along the correct path, while wrong answers will lead them to a dead end. In addition to a maze, the attraction includes a farm animal petting zoo and a corn pit and straw maze for younger children, pumpkins, gourds, Mums, Indian corn and more. The corn maze will be open every Friday and Saturday through Nov. 1, with opening day today from 4 to 8 p.m. Hours are Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday hours are available for school tours or groups by appointment only. Admission is $6 per person and children 3 and under free. For more information on the corn maze at Goshert Farms, call 574-353-7398.
