The 24th Annual Toy Time Sale & Give-Away for Combined Community Services is fast approaching. You can consign or donate quality used toys to help those in need in Kosciusko County.
Director of Emergency Assistance Christie Borzeniatow tells News Now Warsaw its all part of the giving season.
“Our mission is providing comfort, hope, and resources for neighbors in need. I really feel like, during the holidays especially, its nice to know that someone is out there saying, ‘hey, let’s give you a hand’,” she explains. “Let’s remember what the season is about and make you know that someone cares.”
There is a two-day toy sale, followed by a toy give-away.
“What the giveaway does is it gives the families an opportunity to come and you can get some used toys and also some new toys so you can have a big bunch to put under your Christmas tree,” says Borzeniatow.
If you want to consign or donate, you can bring good quality used toys to the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds December 11-14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The public toy sale is taking place December 16 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and December 17 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Toy Give-Away is December 19 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and December 20 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
