First Friday in October is “Art-Tober Fest” Oct. 3. It is from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Warsaw. Warsaw Community High School Pep Band will be on center stage from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The new Warsaw Community Schools science, technology, engineering and mathematics bus will be available for touring. Art In The Park is moving to downtown this year. All craft supplies are furnished by Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club. There will be demonstrations, watercolor, acrylics, crafts with assistance by art teachers in the high school, middle school and elementary schools and by local students. There will be a bounce house sponsored by the Biomet United Way team. The Walk-N-Wander photo contest is going on at the Latte Lounge with voting through Tuesday, and the community is invited to vote for its favorite. Winners will be announced Oct. 3.
