The latest Hoosier Real Estate Report shows that for just the second time this year, monthly home sales outpaced last year. 580 more homes sold statewide in September than during the same month last year in the Hoosier state. That's a more than 9 percent increase. September home sale prices were also better than last year. So, what about the local market? In Kosciusko County, sales are up for the month by 7-and-a-half percent. The median price for a home is also up nearly 7 percent, to $129,000.
