KCSD Press Release- Kosciusko County officers arrest two individuals this week on meth related charges while they continue to search for a third suspect. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded early Monday morning at 3:42 a.m. to the area of County Road 450 North & Brown Road in regards to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, a male occupant of the vehicle fled on foot from the vehicle, while a passenger was taken into custody. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested and preliminarily charged Nicole Lynn Winstead, 27, Claypool, with felony dealing methamphetamine, possession of meth precursors, and manufacturing methamphetamine after locating a portable meth lab inside the vehicle. Winstead was also determined to have an active misdemeanor warrant for theft. Officers were also able to determine the identity of the male subject that had fled as being that of Kane Edward Hively, 27, Warsaw. Winstead is currently being held on a $4,500 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail, while officers have currently obtained an arrest warrant for Hively.
