Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly stealing an SUV and burglarizing a home. The suspects are just 16 and 17 years-old. Elkhart County Sheriff's investigators say the two boys stole a Chevy Trailblazer from the driveway of a home in the 57-thousand block of South 9th Street. Then, about an hour later, police say the two broke into a home in the 100 block of The Willows and stole TVs, jewelry, watches, and an antique rifle. Soon after, the Trailblazer was located on fire in Ashton Pines apartment complex. The teens were seen leaving the vehicle and walking tooward the a nearby Meijer store. Sheriff's deputies caught the boys red-handed with the stolen items, nearby in a parking lot north of the Meijer store. The two were taken to the juvenile detention center suspected of auto theft, burglary, possession of stolen property, and drug-related charges.
