A new survey out shows that 18% of Americans expect to never get out of debt. The creditcards.com study says that figure is double what it was in May of 2013. The survey also says those who do expect to get out of debt don‘t think it‘ll happen until their upwards of 61 years old. University of Indianapolis Finance Expert Dr. Matt Will says he's not surprised. He says credit card purchases should not be used for day to day living and should be treated like writing checks with balances paid off every month.
