New information has been released, identifying an Adams High School teacher who was fired earlier this fall for immorality.
The school board approved the dismissal of health teacher William Emmons this week.
The South Bend Tribune reports the school corporation received a report that Emmons engaged in inappropriate communication of a sexual nature with a student.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office has not named Emmons, nor has he been arrested or charged with a crime.
A spokeswoman confirmed an Adams teacher was being investigated by the Special Victims Unit for “inappropriate contact”.
Back in October. The Tribune reported Adams students as seeing a teacher being led from the school by the resource officer.
