Now they’ve added some lakes in LaGrange and Noble Counties.
Due to all the recent rainfall, restrictions have been placed on the West Lakes Chain in Noble County and the Indian Lakes Chain in LaGrange County until further notice.
The West Lake Chain consists of Waldron, Steinbarger, Tamarack and Jones Lakes.
The Indian Lakes Chain consists of Witmer, Westler, Dallas, Hackenburg and Messick Lakes.
DNR officers are also encouraging property owners to report all damages that are attributed to the recent flooding event. The preferred reporting method is online at bit.ly/2018rainfall or www.in.gov/dhs and select Damage Reporting under featured topics.
