Damage Assessment crews made up of local and state employees are surveying homes and businesses affected by the recent storms and flooding.
Kosciusko County Emergency Management Director Ed Rock says this is the first step in gaining federal assistance for the affected residents of Kosciusko County.
Crews may approach you and ask questions relating to ownership of property, insurance, and extent of damage. They may also ask for photographs of the damage.
Still, Rock assures there is no charge or fee for the service the crews are providing to Kosciusko County residents.
