Some streets near downtown Warsaw had to be closed after a Friday morning train derailment.
City officials say a westbound train of flat cars were carrying railroad iron when three of the cars jumped the track near Winona Avenue where the North/South tracks intersect the East/West tracks.
Maple, Bronson and Scott Streets were closed where the North/South tracks intersect the East/West tracks. Bronson was able to reopen shortly after the road closures were announced.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident, and there is no danger to residents or businesses.
All cars remained upright despite derailment.
