High school football teams around the state will participate in scrimmages tomorrow night (friday), and the scrimmage in Warsaw will help feed hungry people around the world. Admission to the Tippecanoe Valley-Warsaw scrimmage is free, but the Tiger Football team and athletic department are asking you to donate cash to Feed My Starving Children, an organization that uses local volunteers to pack simple meals for people who are malnourished. ESPN 1027 is sponsoring the Feed My Starving Children event October 9th-11th. Organizers say they are in need of monetary donations to help buy the food that will be packed, and volunteers will be stationed at the main gate to Fisher Field to take your donations. Canned goods will not be accepted at the gates…monetary donations.
